"To turn our backs now on the Ukrainian people ... is morally bankrupt and strategically negligent. " The gangsters in charge of Ukraine were put in power by the CIA. We have no obligation to start World War III simply because a dizzy dame in the US State Department said we should.

Agreed Charles - I didn't make it clear that it was Clark's sentiment - these pundits conveniently dismiss the history, especially 2014, although I understand that this troubled area has seen devastation going back to the Khazars. https://www.britannica.com/topic/Khazar

Thanks for the link to "The Postil". I've only read it in part but it is good. It reminded me of a lecture I heard from a 2nd Secretary from the Russian embassy in London decades ago. You need to understand the view from the other country before you either criticise or attack.

As for the rt.com link, that is censored here despite a couple of attempts to get around the censorship. RT might be very biased but it does write about a few interesting things that the MSM will not touch.

As for the RN: how long before we can conduct a Fleet Review on the Serpentine in Hyde Park? It's not the Royal Navy in which I served for 3 decades.

Yes indeed Greg and it isn't the RN I knew when I joined HMS Devonshire in 1979 but those days are long gone. Our proud history of naval excellence has been eviscerated beyond measure.

Would you fit a Smart Meter? Here’s the localist non-regulator, OfGoAway, with real words, “The installation of smart meters is a vital step in the modernisation of our energy system and the path to allow the elite to decide when to cut you off, so that the elite can keep the heating on in their swimming pools. Smart meters give the government better information about the proles excess use of energy helping it keep them under control.”
