Thank you, AP, for your usual comprehensive report tracking the suicide of England. I’m a fan of Iain Davis but missed his essay on Democracy – so thank you for its inclusion.
Of course, those who lust after controlling others only do so because they lack the discipline to control themselves. Fools!
I was advised/lectured decades ago that our democracy was the responsibility of the people i.e. me! Since when, poor soppy me has been attempting to learn and then know enough to be able to exercise these responsibilities only to discover that, generally, M.P.s rely on a simpler philosophy and activity – they identify who or what has the most power and control and comply with that.
I knew a lot of important activities were being planned and implemented behind the scenes (if only by the volume of distractions and irrelevancies leading the news) but didn’t realise our digital demise was so advanced.
I do resent the childish justification for all of this nonsense. I’d prefer it if at least ‘they’ were honest and our ‘elite’ would simply state that we don’t live in a democracy of any description but occupy a plantation and are regarded with as much respect as any homogenised vegetable
Allow me to at least thank you and wish you and yours an entertaining New Year.
It's always darkest before dawn! Please try to make the most of what we have now, try to be joyful at the good things and laugh at (but not in their faces) of the deficient ones responsible for our plight. xxx
A fabulous assessment Zara and thank you for sharing. Yes, the digital stockade is well advanced and I have been tracking it since 2020 (the kick-off of the Great Reset), when I too had my eyes opened. It wasn't a shock to know because I had already understood the dystopian nature of the English from my early days and study of British history and colonialism: https://www.britannica.com/topic/East-India-Company
In the end, Britain extracted an estimated $41tn from India alone in the form of taxes, tariffs and God knows what skulduggery. This is why a sh**ty little island like UK (with few resources) appears to be 'rich'. They robbed the world for centuries but claimed philanthorpy as the motivation. As always follow the money! Africa is still reeling from the lack of development due to their past exploitation. But now things are changing fast, which I write about each month in my South African Letter: https://austrianpeter.substack.com/p/geopolitics-and-sa-trumps-challenge?r=hhrlz&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&triedRedirect=true
Best wishes for the New Year dear sister; "the darkness is always before the dawn"
You are deservedly welcome Ken - I do so enjoy our exchanges and learn so much. All the best for 2025 old friend - it's likely to be a roller-coaster! Happy New Year!

Kindest, Zara.
"the suicide of England." Sadly, so true, as I watch with horror, from the inside!
I wish you a Happy New Year, Gregb.

Maybe UK should become the 53rd state?
After Greenland and Canada I guess. Good idea Darius - it can't be any worse!
Liked. One thing I do know, we are in a 'state,' lol!
