Specifically, I take issue with the sentiment "things are good in US markets - inflation not so bad - no worries mate" kind of sentiment. It seems superficial to me and really - the world is changing - flux in high energy state and where we come out of the unsustainable flux is full of Uncertainty with a capital U - so honestly, I take issue with statements seeming to imply it is all some sort of big game easily understood and "we got the inside track" sort of thinking.

Said with respect, but said with caution as well because uncertainty is not to be trifled with. Fierce it is and suffering no fools.

With that said, China, especially in real estate markets seems to have gotten in bed with fiat and that can't end well - maybe the folks there will come to their senses and take matters into their own hands just like maybe folks all around the globe will do as such - it is called for.

I think the City of London is toast financially because the whole world is sick of British shit. Sames goes for Wall Street - if I had patrons requesting good advice, I'd advise them to get out of the casino markets and head for the hills. Probably why, I don't have patrons as such, but still - the whole game is changing, so get with the game please.

Sincerely,

BK

Many thanks BK - as usual you are on the ball! Don't forget this is BOOM talking very generally and of course he recognises that USA and indeed other countries will have local variations - so this is a top down view of geopolitics and global finance. He is fortunate to be in Brisbane which itself is a little local paradise amongst some pretty awful ones: https://www.visitbrisbane.com.au/

And this is also emblematic of my lovely suburb Simons Town (Cape Town) where again we have a little local paradise: https://fbyc.co.za/ where we spent 10 very happy years amongst the wild west of South Africa!

Going Local Economy using cash wherever possible is the route to counter the WEF plan IMHO.

Go well dear friend and thank you for your valuable observations :-)

Just two more places I'd love to visit - the places you describe. Maybe I'll just get on a damn boat and idle over there! I don't ever plan on flying on a plane again.

I think I'm gonna delete my comments below, which is truly NOT my style (I stand by my posts even if sometimes they may seem odd...). They aren't value-added - I was just annoyed cause it seemed as if they were delayed before they showed up. To be honest, I can't remember the last time I deleted a post of mine..... maybe I'll just delete the last one on this thread....

It is an indication of a strong personality to have the humility to revisit a post! I stand in awe of your resilience Ken, thank you for the reminder and the lesson :-)

Best wishes as always.

Well, we all got to be resilient and I'm getting a little up there in years and I need to keep the blood flowing to my brain because I don't want to ever be pompous and if I ever seem to be as such - please tell me....let me know cause I don't ever want to be pompous.

Typically it is the pompous old farts who learn last in their mind's haze......but lately there are few out there who didn't seem to get the memo about new generations with new ideas that merit consideration.

At my site, I wrote a whole Poem about this quandary we find ourselves in and I have hope because I know there are folks such as yourself out there, and I suspect if I was in Cape Town, you would open the door to a stranger. I'll do likewise in my place similar, and then together we will be better.

I got a pretty good eye to spy a kitty kat and there was a black one Halloween evening a few days ago and my sweet Jack Rusell bitch, 15-years old but still spry, chased that black cat away Halloween time. She chased it away the next day when the saints were emerging.

That black cat be advised to know, that if my dog don't catch it, I will and I already know what to do with it - I've planned it all out!

Peace!

Ken

ps - for the sake of fair disclosure, I should add, my plans don't always go as expected!

Wonderful stuff my good friend. And yes, I recently understood what "God's will rather than mine" really means but that was my sudden realisation on the road to Shepton Mallet - not Damascus - but the effect was the same!

This makes me sad in a way, because my lovely, the love of my life, she and I were at the bath and Bath....so close to Shepton Mallet and we didn't even know....I doubt there is any chance I'll get back there and my baby, the love of my life, the women I married, she went to the UK this past summer against my council, but my baby - she is sassy. That is why I married her!

What more can any man ask for then to be married to a good women!

ha, ha....

Can I just clarify from an independent point of view that nothing you have posted has shown any sign of you being "pompous" at the present time.

Thank you PC - that's very kind of you to say so. I guess we can all be accused of being 'know-alls' on occasion, especially here on Substack, where the depth and breadth of knowledge is immense. I learn something new every day - that's the joy of me being here. Happy New Year :-)

Per your other question on the other thread on this substack from about a week ago or so, when we went to visit my daughter while she had her "getaway" time at Portsmouth studying abroad (none of her hours transferred over).....while we were there we went to the Isle of Wight, Stonehenge, Bath, and London of course.

We also enjoyed a few evenings in Portsmouth proper. Lots of history there being the place is directly on the Channel. There was a castle nearby we spent some daylight hours at - it must of sucked to be a French prisoner there. We also went to the graveyard and the home city of some relatives of my wife.

I hope that answers your previous question - can you share with us what interests you in this substack?

Regards,

Ken
