Blessings to you Ken. i do so appreciate your dedication to the pursuit of knowledge and truth and your contributions here. I have spent 78 years doing as you too appear to have done so.

When I emigrated to Cape Town in 1999, my dream was to sail the seven seas but that didn't happen because my angels intervened and another course/ route/direction of my life took place and the destination was - wait for it - back to UK in 2009 which I have spent all my life trying to get away from!

As a young child I could never understand why I needed to go to bed in the daylight! My mother suggested (she never dictated to me) that I read a book until I fell asleep. This worked, and I have read in bed ever since having completed, I guess, thousands of books. But I still retained the urge to go south, permanently, which i achieved in 1999.

My life has almost been planned for me - I have always had a sense of 'mission'. I have never 'applied for a job' as i have always been 'headhunted' (much to my surprise) for I don't think I am anything special, but now I do know I am special to my Creator and that is enough for me.

My needs have always been provided for - enough, but never in excess - thus I have not stored up material 'wealth' - my father was the same. He always joked that he had no money worries because he had no money! My mother was the provider -half Jewish - she was good with money.

My father completed his doctorate in divinity in the 1920s but was uncertain about continuing in the church until he had decided what people needed. He embarked on 6-month odyssey on the road as a tramp/wayfarer and ended up at a friary here:

https://www.hilfieldfriary.org.uk/abouthilfield/ He decided that the most important thing people needed was shoes! It was not surprising as he had tramped around UK for 6 months.

My father became an apprentice cobbler (7 years in those days). and he looked after my feet so well that even now, my wife admires their condition. (It is important to recognise that your feet are the only contact you have with mother earth)

I followed my father in 2014 to Cerne Abbas, when my wife returned to SA for a 3 month holiday and reunion with her family. I spent precious time with brother Samuel and the other brothers as part of my search for meaning and enlightenment of my mission on my earth-walk. It has only recently been revealed to me, when my Creator has called me to his work in his time, not mine. This little book explains it all so very well:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Illusions-Adventures-Reluctant-Richard-Bach/dp/0099427869

I do not, and have never appreciated living 50 N of the equator - my place has to be in the tropics and Cape Town suited me well. When my Creator, YHWH, allows perhaps I shall return to my paradise - or not. This little poem sums up my life thus far: https://www.onlythebible.com/Poems/Footprints-in-the-Sand-Poem.html

Incidentally, the British pension system seems to be under attack by derivative instruments not well understood by definition. That is a recipe for disaster and I don't think the number crunching mathematical construct creating ones were aware of the flaws in their methodology.

Just saying - calculus is flawed.

Hello Peter,

I'm taking advantage of feeling a bit better right now, in order to try to provide you with the representative booklist re. the survival of 'death' truth which I said I'd post for you.

As I said a few days ago on the other Substack site, there are literally countless millions of properly-informed, spiritually-enlightened people around the world, and those countless millions include numerous properly-informed scientists, doctors, nurses, psychiatrists, lawyers, etc etc.

There have been many thousands of high-quality, scholarly books written and published on the survival of 'death' truth (we survive that event in our eternal, immortal soul/spirit body form; that being the thing which literally animates our physical body 'coat' whilst we're here on Earth in each of our eternal soul's many, many lifetimes), and a large percentage of those many thousands of books on this all-important topic have been written BY those properly-informed, spiritually-enlightened scientists, doctors, nurses, psychiatrists, lawyers, etc etc.

Well, there you are, Peter! A representative sample of excellent, high-quality books which provide a veritable wealth of explanations and multi-faceted evidences for how and why we all most definitely survive (in our immortal spirit body form) the wholly illusory event that's incorrectly termed 'death'.

(There are 20+ different categories of the available evidences!)

Hope you may find something of interest in the foregoing.

Best wishes,

Christine

Yo - I've made and effort to get others to participate in this conversation because I think the more the merrier and frankly how much more can just the few of us discoursing here say to one another? What more is to be gained? So, my efforts may come to naught, but rest assured I tried to engage others because I think the conversation here has merit. Not sure I will say that again, because it depends on context per my perspective and here is a song I'm fond of - to bring this to closure I reckon.

Hey - I got a question. Why is there nobody else on this conversation. I think there needs to be more than just 2 Bert Powers excepted of course and said with respect. How about 4 folks on this thread - can we make it 4? Or is it just the 3 of us on this tangential experience?

So, I think some serious mathematical ideas are being batted around, links and whatnot provided, conversations about the body, farts included, most important, but really - what is the point of the party if it is just the 3 of us?

No matter, I've learned a bit, and had some fun, and shared ideas and so I'll sleep well tonight and I appreciate our discourse here. Better discourse, with respect for semantics of course, is my recipe for a better future - I don't know if you have clicked on my name or not, but there are some links there that get to the heart of the matter per my perspective of course. Why else are we communicating here in the first place?

Let me spell it out because I'm tired.

http://www.peoplesproclamation.com/ - this is a proclamation

http://www.carbon-tax.net/ - this is a story of mine - it has evolved over time and some of the links still work

My patience for some things lately seems to be diminishing, but I've enjoyed our discourse here so there is that.

Time always tells in the end because how could I not say that being my absolute presupposition (something can't really be proven but can be supposed) is that time moves on in one direction and the direction of that is what? The future obviously. Can't go back in time except in one's mind and can't go forward to far either, unless working together, and then together can go a bit further, but it is bounded obviously. Time obeys only itself and it moves in one direction only - the future. I pray for peace and a better future for all of us. Symbiotic it could be.

Being a liar and to the clinical extreme of being pathological seems to be a requirement for public office. They do it to the point where telling a lie is a subconscious function. So many times they lie when they do not have to. That is when they pass over the rubicon of sanity to insanity.

Brilliant Ken,

This is what one of my Sufi-Master trainers on my counselling course calls 'Aura' and we did lots of work on hypnotherapy, chakras etc. The eastern civs have known about this for millennia! My Chinese readers educate me all the time!

I share your frustration Ken, but really we are not alone because I repost to my alma mater website where many brilliant minds are at work. You might copy this thread to the comments section at https://www.theburningplatform.com/author/austrian-peter/

I post my Letter on a Saturday, my colleague BOOM on a Tuesday (not Substacked) and occasional specials on a Thursday which is me writing Part 2 of my book and posting some items as I go. This is my archive site too which goes back to 2018 when I serialised my book over 100 issues by the gracious invitation of 'Admin' aka Jim Quinn the owner. 'The Burning Platform' is a place for free spirits - no censorship - Jim has a BIG heart and a brilliant mind, spirit - but not sure about the body! He is in PA. He needs all the support he can get and often invites various writers - you might try him on your own writing?

Love and blessings AP XX
