Blessings to you Ken. i do so appreciate your dedication to the pursuit of knowledge and truth and your contributions here. I have spent 78 years doing as you too appear to have done so.

When I emigrated to Cape Town in 1999, my dream was to sail the seven seas but that didn't happen because my angels intervened and another course/ route/direction of my life took place and the destination was - wait for it - back to UK in 2009 which I have spent all my life trying to get away from!

As a young child I could never understand why I needed to go to bed in the daylight! My mother suggested (she never dictated to me) that I read a book until I fell asleep. This worked, and I have read in bed ever since having completed, I guess, thousands of books. But I still retained the urge to go south, permanently, which i achieved in 1999.

My life has almost been planned for me - I have always had a sense of 'mission'. I have never 'applied for a job' as i have always been 'headhunted' (much to my surprise) for I don't think I am anything special, but now I do know I am special to my Creator and that is enough for me.

My needs have always been provided for - enough, but never in excess - thus I have not stored up material 'wealth' - my father was the same. He always joked that he had no money worries because he had no money! My mother was the provider -half Jewish - she was good with money.

My father completed his doctorate in divinity in the 1920s but was uncertain about continuing in the church until he had decided what people needed. He embarked on 6-month odyssey on the road as a tramp/wayfarer and ended up at a friary here:

My father became an apprentice cobbler (7 years in those days). and he looked after my feet so well that even now, my wife admires their condition. (It is important to recognise that your feet are the only contact you have with mother earth)

I followed my father in 2014 to Cerne Abbas,when my wife returned to SA for a 3 month holiday and reunion with her family. I spent precious time with brother Samuel and the other brothers as part of my search for meaning and enlightenment of my mission on my earth-walk. It has only recently been revealed to me, when my Creator has called me to his work in his time, not mine. This little book explains it all so very well:

Incidentally, the British pension system seems to be under attack by derivative instruments not well understood by definition. That is a recipe for disaster and I don't think the number crunching mathematical construct creating ones were aware of the flaws in their methodology.

Just saying - calculus is flawed.

Many thanks BK and I am with you on this one. All financial entities are insolvent; even one reader of mine fears for his pension, which of course I too have after buying annuities in 2008 (just before the crash). The house of cards is about to collapse IMHO - Math is universal and impeccably honest - it cannot be corrupted. Stats on the other hand, are subject to the vagaries of the human condition - an opinion rather than a fact.

However the last of my Silent Generation (born pre -1946) know earlier post-war deprivation and we can live on beans and rice. Sadly the excesses of last 70 years in the West, driven by the greed of GloboCap, has left the subsequent generations ill-equipped to manage in the coming Great Depression II per my 'Chapter 13 - The New Emergent Economy' https://www.researchgate.net/publication/358117070_THE_FINANCIAL_JIGSAW_-_PART_1_-_4th_Edition_2020

Well knowledge of the sort you profess is greatly needed and I for one thank you.

The reason I said calculus is flawed at the edges because per my study at its base level calculus is premised on the idea that an itty bitty teeny tiny little oh so little number squared (raised to the power of 2) is basically 0. Most of the time that is true, but when you get into the land of derivative financial instruments this flaw will rear its ugly head and it will wreck havoc upon those unprepared.

That is all I was saying and thank you and please I hope there are more from your generation willing to share wisdom learned real life.

I understand your logic BK. You are referring to that ignominious calculus of pure math but of course applied math is that to which we are exposed in the real world. It is manifest in chaos theory, which nature uses all the time (I am sure our Creator is a remarkable mathematician): This book is worth a read:

It explains complexity theory and incorporates nature's 'Spirals' which are Fibonacci Numbers. Fibonacci numbers are the pattern where each number is the sum of the two previous numbers. 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144 and on to infinity. The ratio between the numbers (1.618034) is called the golden ratio. Spirals are Fibonacci numbers.

This is but one of several magical universal math constructs which most of us ignore. Any self-sustaining system needs to conform to our Creator's math. For example the magic squares (the essence of the Bible): The standard or normal magic square is defined as an arrangement of the first n2 natural numbers (or positive integers) into a square matrix so that the sum of the numbers in each column, row and diagonal is the same magic number. Interestingly enough, Jesus counted 153 fishes when he was fishing with Peter. But how excited they were when Jesus told them to cast the net on the other side of the boat and they hauled in 153 big fishes! (John 21:11)

By the way, in the series of numbers above, Fibonacci ones and such - you disrespected "0" being it is the first number in the sequence. Maybe it doesn't need mention? But, if the series is based upon the addition of the two previous numbers, there must be a zero in the beginning.

I know I'm chatting here and such, but I said this elsewhere because your suggestions made me think of it. Consider, the date that will be "next year". Per my nomenclature this date can be numerically indicated as such:

101123 (tis next year...)

OK, going with that you have this sequence:

1+0 = 1

0+1 = 1

1+1 = 2

1+2 = 3

wa-la - tis Fibonacci in form....

it will happen again in 2035 on January 12, but on that date it only goes out 3 places.

Math is fun, but tis not trivial - just like semantics.

I think I mentioned a former business partner, Peter Searle? His math was way beyond my understanding (ex Logica) - [Logica was acquired by Canada-based CGI Group in 2012 and the Logica brand name ceased being used in 2013.]

I am not particularly mathematical. When Xerox tested me in 1977 they told me I had a particular aptitude to be able to link unconnected dots together. They said they could use it in systems problems, especially corporate systems, where I backed up the salesmen to provide analysis, reports and cost/benefit justifications to close the sale and I then shared their commission.

When I was 6 or 7 we used to get sick with the annual round of flu, measles, chicken pox etc. In the 1940s-50s the treatment was 2 weeks in bed with lemon, Aspirin, Bovril, Malt Extract, Orange Juice (real) and staying warm (no central heating). We all had a Home Doctor book which I still have - it was my grandfather's (my mother's side). I could write a book about all this. The NHS was in its infancy at the time and rarely did we go to hospital. Home remedies and herbs were the treatment of the day.

Moreover, the addition of whole numbers is something any geometry lover can't help but wonder....

What does it mean?

A whole number.....is it even real or is it just imaginary in a way....because nothing, not even nothing is perfect.

Nothing is indeed perfect, Ken and of course the square root of minus one is imaginary. I don't think math is perfect. A former business partner of mine in the 1980s was a PhD number theory master and proved beyond my doubt that 2+2 doesn't equal 4. It was a complex and convoluted proof but I could find no error. He said that math relies on a premise that is non-trivial, touching on harmonics and "wave theory; a theory in physics: light is transmitted from luminous bodies to the eye and other objects by an undulatory movement:

An excellent observation Ken. Zero is so important yet often ignored, I think this is something worth following up - if enough time is available. The Romans built an empire without it - quite remarkable!

Who needs it is what the Romans thunk I reckon, but they thought wrong you want my opinion. 0 just like infinity is most important - deserving respect if not reverence....mathematically of course. In most day to day living, it never really comes into play unless one is playing in fiscal derivative instruments and such, and then tis most important.

Thank you for sharing some things worth better understanding. I agree there is a difference between "pure math" and "applied math" but at the extremes this difference diminishes and then when there are flaws they become a representation of the uncertainty there always will be and when that uncertainty is not transparently acknowledged.....that is when the forces of zero and infinity assert themselves being they feel like they have been disrespected so to speak.

I for one treat zero and infinity with utmost respect because what other choice is there? They will never truly be understood because uncertainty is part of life and calculus is flawed at the edges and the edges especially in fiscal instruments are starting to get frayed - so to speak.

Ah yes, Ken you are now in the realms of what one of my system programmers refereed to as: Black Art Programming. We were reverse engineering a compiler at the time and I got lost in the maze of variables that the Nerd designer had incorporated as 'game of foxes chasing rabbits' - because I guess he was bored repeating the same algorithms over and over. That was in the 80s when a 386 was the super laptop and Borland 'C' was the pinnacle.

I am lost today in the deluge of AI tech of which I have no understanding. I still use my trusty Win 7 Tower (two in fact) - one to follow GB News! I have your book on Angels which is next on my list but I have too others to read concurrently - so it's a busy time (so what's new!). Have just seen your reply of a couple of days ago (have not been online for more than a few minutes, the last few days, as am suffering with my health... a serious condition. It began manifesting about three weeks ago... and I realise is what my dad in Spirit [despicably... is so very unethical of them in Spirit to give information re. peoples' passings... many people on Earth know that souls in the Spirit world do sometimes give info. which it's highly unethical/immoral for them to give... I'm fuming at my dad for having done so, to me...] showed the first medium with whom I ever had a reading, when I still lived in London, in 2001).

Am trying to make some of my family members (strewn around the country) aware of what's really going on... re. the global coup d'etat which took place 3 years ago. I tried, just this morning, to explain to my sister [62] re. the banking situation... but it's all over their heads, for they still choose to 'believe' what they're told on their beloved TVs... right from the start of this situation as of March 2020, I provided them all with such a lot of information re. how the world is actually run/controlled, and by whom, etc etc. But they choose to reject what I've told them. 'Ignorance is bliss', huh...

My health issue is making me not be able to focus so much on the nightmare situation on planet Earth. But still take a look online daily, on the sites which I trust and respect.

Sorry to hear you are unwell my dear and it's understandable because you appear to be exposed to the worst of demons battling today to take back control - they know that you know.

When I qualified as a humanistic counsellor (Rogerian) in 1997 we were warned about the influence of our clients and shown how to build a defensive aura (one of my trainers saw a Sufi master). It extends a little way beyond that barrier we recognise as personal space (for me it extends some 30 cm from my body, but is not fixed, it varies a little). It feels like a multi-coloured sparkling crystal light and it's warm and comforting

My work with hypnotherapy also confirmed how powerful this energy field is - I have use it in my work of healing my clients and I was amazed that on occasions this positive energy would transfer to them lifting them from their dark places. I don't have conscious control of the process which appears at random during sessions.

Hello Peter,

Have just seen your post of yesterday, thank you. And thanks for your kind words re. my suffering.

What I'm suffering, health-wise, has got nothing to do with the conspirators who have carried out this coup d'etat... what I'm suffering is a wholly physical thing, and something which may well be the eventual cause of my return to Spirit. As I said in my post to you of a day or so ago, I now realise that what I'm suffering is what my dad in Spirit (despicably) showed the medium with whom I had my first ever reading, back in 2001 (people [souls] in Spirit have the ability to see, in advance of Earth-time, all events that will take place in what we on Earth call the 'future').

What I'm suffering (it's horrific...) is the result of a chemical which I stupidly got into my body more than 10 years ago. We all plan, prior to coming to Earth, all the major events in our lives, including how and when we will return to Spirit... no matter WHAT the cause of people's 'death', they, the eternal soul that they ARE, pre-planned that mode of passing, prior to coming to Earth. And that includes murders, etc.

NOTHING is ever 'accidental'. When people say such things as "Oh, what a tragic accident", they're speaking from lack of spiritual knowledge. Anything which is claimed to be "an accident" is NOT: all such things have been pre-planned, by the person/people concerned, in Spirit, before coming to Earth. I well recall one of the examples relating this spiritual truth, early in my researches: "There's no such thing as 'accidents', and even the things we think are 'accident' accidents are NOT accidents".

So what I've been suffering, the last 3+ weeks, I planned (for some spiritual reason...), prior to coming to Earth, this time round (I must be a masochist, for I'm suffering nightmares... and it's not a possibility to 'go to a doctor/hospital and try to get some help', for, they'd claim (oh so wrongly, of course) that I was suffering the claimed-to-exist 'c19', and who knows what would then happen...).

Many thanks for your words re. hypnotherapy, etc. I will look at the video, thank you. Yes, I know about the aura, etc. I read quite a bit re. that, in my early years of researching the survival [of 'death'] truth.

I do understand Christine. I have always had a strong sense of mission, even from a young age. My entire upbringing actually reinforced my feelings. I have had many unexplained events in my life, ( at least 6 NDE) and like you, I do not believe in accidents - but it is never my will - I have an undeniable awareness of something guiding my actions every day - another will. My only regret is that I have no recollection of why I came here in the first place. i have had to guess my mission from my inner self.

I was chosen as a guinea pig when our trainers were demonstrating hypno-regression which was meant to explain previous lives but they came to a full stop with me - no history whatsoever! This actually confirmed what van Plando had told me - that I was in my first spirit life.

I am 78 now and I have a deep sense that my time is short (I am healthy and well but this is no guide to me). My wife depends on me for almost everything in our life management processes, she is bright but chaotic, impetuous, impatient and refuses to plan, and she refuses to believe that she will be left to manage on her own. I have tried all sorts of encouragement to get her to take an interest in the mundane necessities of living in our small cottage - but to no avail.

One of my rules for living is to assess any appeal from another regarding a problem. First question I ask is: "Whose problem is it?" 99% of the time it's not my problem! So I hand it back with a typical phrase: "So what would you like you do about it?"

Our lives as social animals presumes that we become co-dependent on others, and especially partners, who are often picked because they believe that the chosen one will 'save' them from the trials and tribulations of their Earth Walk. My first wife fell into this category and yet I was unable to detach her from her dependence, but after 25 years and 4 lovely children she finally she saw the light in 1994 and went her own way and I also.

I have always travelled the world in my career and especially in my yacht which has been a lifelong love. I ended up in Cape Town where I met my second wife who I was certainly not seeking. We married in Cape Town in 2003 and are sojourning in UK until we return next year.

I have never sought riches, in fact my life has been characterised by managing well and getting by on little and yet, through odd events, I have always been well provided for - my father was the same. But now my mission is to ensure that my wife is capable and well endowed in my absence.

This is not why I write, which is always pro bono - I do this to spread the Word and to help people to 'Protect' their assets and 'Survive' the coming storm. Of course I won't be here to see it, of this I am certain, so I can only leave a legacy of my words for those that follow, to do with it as they will. This is why I wrote my books - for the benefit of my children.

Yes, I too am not materialistic. I've never been so (not in this lifetime, anyway!). However, I'm totally capable of all the practical stuff of life, in everyday living. I've read of some wives who, on the 'death' of their husbands, don't even know how to write a cheque... (but how many payments are made by cheque nowadays, I wonder...). If your passing was to be relatively soon, I'm sure that your wife would be able to cope, surely?!?

Yes, the data from Spirit is emphatic: that all major events in everyone's life are indeed planned and agreed-upon, before we come to Earth. No matter WHAT the event... (that spiritual truth applies to both good AND bad events).

The physical suffering which I'm enduring is, for whatever reason, sometimes able to subside... about 10 days ago, there were two consecutive days where the worst manifestations subsided for 4-5 hours, and 6-7 hours, respectively. And about 4 days ago, the horrific manifestations subsided (I have no idea how that happens, but am most gladdened when it does!) for a full 12-13 hours.

This morning I woke to find that the worst manifestations were not (at the moment...) taking place.

Yo - I've made and effort to get others to participate in this conversation because I think the more the merrier and frankly how much more can just the few of us discoursing here say to one another? What more is to be gained? So, my efforts may come to naught, but rest assured I tried to engage others because I think the conversation here has merit. The beauty to me and it fluctuates but over time one thing I've learned is one good ideas leads to another and good discourse is what it take for that to happen in earnest - that is why I think semantics is not trivial.

Peace to you and keep on keeping on - I've bookmarked so many links here and it is good to have "down-time" sometimes to study, contemplate, or just relax a bit. Balance is key and that is why I love Lady Libra let me just admit.....she holds the scales.

Hey - I got a question. Why is there nobody else on this conversation. I think there needs to be more than just 2 Bert Powers excepted of course and said with respect. How about 4 folks on this thread - can we make it 4? Or is it just the 3 of us on this tangential experience?

So, I think some serious mathematical ideas are being batted around, links and whatnot provided, conversations about the body, farts included, most important, but really - what is the point of the party if it is just the 3 of us?

No matter, I've learned a bit, and had some fun, and shared ideas and so I'll sleep well tonight and I appreciate our discourse here. My patience for some things lately seems to be diminishing, but I've enjoyed our discourse here so there is that.

Time always tells in the end because how could I not say that being my absolute presupposition (something can't really be proven but can be supposed) is that time moves on in one direction and the direction of that is what? The future obviously. Can't go back in time except in one's mind and can't go forward to far either, unless working together, and then together can go a bit further, but it is bounded obviously. Time obeys only itself and it moves in one direction only - the future. I pray for peace and a better future for all of us. Symbiotic it could be.

Being a liar and to the clinical extreme of being pathological seems to be a requirement for public office. They do it to the point where telling a lie is a subconscious function. So many times they lie when they do not have to. That is when they pass over the rubicon of sanity to insanity.

You never cease to amaze me with your succinct observations, Bert. Although we have never met - your words alone call to me as a friend indeed. It is generally accepted (common knowledge) that a stranger is a friend I have not yet met, who come to you for a reason, a season or a lifetime.

My dear South African wife came to me for a lifetime 20 years ago when she blew onto my yacht during a storm. At 0100 hrs she was hanging desperately to the wheel and screaming that she was enjoying every moment. This, I thought, was one woman I had not yet met!

Lack of knowledge is nothing to apologise for Bert. We are all fallible mortals searching to find answers to the ultimate questions of the universe. I would not worry about the theatre that is politics - it is only entertainment for the masses, to keep them subdued and enjoying their bread & circuses. Soccer especially fulfils this need.

Indeed, the Internet has freed the slaves of corrupted capitalism - but most don't know that they are free, because only if you know the prison exists can you know that you are a prisoner.

A good example of this concept was my granddaughter sometime ago, when in the middle of a family meal, she exclaimed that she had to isolate for 10 days because the NHS APP on her iPhone has told her so!! When I said, are you a prisoner of this device? She replied that granddad didn't understand - sigh.

This is what one of my Sufi-Master trainers on my counselling course calls 'Aura' and we did lots of work on hypnotherapy, chakras etc. The eastern civs have known about this for millennia! My Chinese readers educate me all the time!

I post my Letter on a Saturday, my colleague BOOM on a Tuesday (not Substacked) and occasional specials on a Thursday which is me writing Part 2 of my book and posting some items as I go. This is my archive site too which goes back to 2018 when I serialised my book over 100 issues by the gracious invitation of 'Admin' aka Jim Quinn the owner. 'The Burning Platform' is a place for free spirits - no censorship - Jim has a BIG heart and a brilliant mind, spirit - but not sure about the body! He is in PA. He needs all the support he can get and often invites various writers - you might try him on your own writing?
