I am too old to negotiate the mountain steps Ken, 20 years ago, no worries, now I am old and infirm LOL- so looking for somewhere to live in Fish Hoek this week. I know I have so many friends like you Ken - even far away - your are near and dear to me. :-)
I've been getting old as well - the other day - I had to do some roof repair work and I wore the wrong shoes - as a younger man it would have made no difference - but as a man aging I had to suffer through a sore foot for a few days - but the bodies ability to heal is amazing even as we age.
And in the future, I will be smarter about the shoes I wear.
Best to you and stay strong - hang tough and never give up your dreams.
You know - wolves and humans go way back....you know that as well as the fact that the pack doesn't always succeed on every hunt, but together the Wolfpack is the most fearsome predator on planet Earth.
And my Viking heritage tells me all about packs, tribes and those great compatriots who alway fight for freedon, my good friend Ken. I WILL NEVER SURRENDER!
Exactly - no Wolfpack worth their salt ever surrenders - sometimes some of the weaker wolves in the pack get eliminated - sometimes the stronger ones do when they age - but the Pack as a whole - "surrender" ain't even part of their mindset - cause they are top predators and the pack always gets the prey.
We are moving house this week, Ken, to Fish Hoek (google) - so it's a bit manic at present. I will catch up with you later in the week! As you know, I had to move off the mountain after 20 years due to accident at FBYC July 5, and still suffer concussion - so taking it steady LOL! But of course, my Wolf Pack will always survive :-)
Maybe I have missed something - but why did you need to move off the mountain?
I hope you have found a secure place for the time being.
You know you have many friends and not much better in life than a good friend I reckon.
Ken

You know as I do Peter - there is an opportunity for "peace" presenting itself.
I sense it.
And remember - the Wolfpack always gets its prey!

Always in the mind of the Wolfpack!
