I have a few theories and some principles I live by. From a safety-standpoint, as a career ESHA professional I have come to conclude that work is safer if it is fulfilling for the worker.

From a principled standpoint, I feel that fulfillment is more important than mammon.

So, if there is a conflict twixt fulfillment versus mammon, don't you think the choice is obvious.

If you need somebody to help you get an environmental permit, especially an air permit in the US of A, then I doubt you gonna find anybody better than me to help make it happen.

A main principle I live my life by is every day I hope to learn something and so many lesson to be learned....it is boundless. As for mammon, Moloch be another name thrown around.....when one refutes fear resolutely, one can laugh at Satan. Don't laugh too much and tell Satan to pack it up because there are stronger forces out there and they are now in play.

Not kidding around I don't think.....

Can I offer you a drink?

I got a pub in my mind and I prefer patrons who pay their bills on time.

So mind ya, I'm not offering my services, nor am I advertising myself and head-hunters can shove it up their ass for all I care - I'm just trying to live a life on a strong foundation of principle and I'm trying to learn one day at a time. Even an old man ought be able to understand that assuming the old man ain't pompous.

We have that old joke here in UK. I walk into to the pub and say: "I'm off to the shores today" - they generally respond: "What shores?" And I say, thanks mine a pint of 6X! :-)

Thanks so much Ken for taking the time to add to my experience. Your sound wisdom is lost here, I don't have enough coverage at present but I was just over at TBP reading a stunning article about down-town Los Angeles - you sure will enjoy the comments!

Enjoy the rest of your evening and have a great day tomorrow. WBW XX

I think I read that story already or something similar. LA is a shithole as is the whole state of California.

Agreed Ken. I was planning to become a biochemist in the 1960s. My dad saved me from this fate, encouraging me to go out into the world for a year or two before committing to a career. It was the best thing I ever did. Dad was wise enough to advise me to work at something I really love - that way I would enjoy every day in fulfilment and what rewards there are will follow - don't chase a job for the money, he said - this is a route to spiritual ruin.

Now between you and I I hope, let me share this.....I plan on having a pub establishment going where I reside now, and this is consistent with my family history because I'm direct descendant of Stephen Hopkins, or so my cousin says......she did some serious research on here end, and honestly I advise against messing with us descendants been running away with British trouble one generation too many....some of us are right mean....myself included I say with Swabian pride. Stubborn to no end we are, but it is a combined thing that only an American could truly understand. I hope you Brits get your house in order cause the rest of the world is sick of your shit.

Moreover and furthermore excusing the typos above, my apologies of course, Lizzy ain't got no Truss and she must be the biggest dimwit of all not know the difference twixt the Black Sea and the Baltic one and so honestly the UK is toast and Odessa beckons.

Sorry Ken, I failed to comment on your excellent plan to run a pub at your locale. In UK, pubs are a vital social support structure, very like a local social club, which is why HMG hate it. It is where we all plot & plan, support each other, and engage in information exchange taking us all a step beyond; it is in essence the root of resistance for Joe Public and HMG know it!

HMG are doing everything they can to kill it - but it won't work for them because as soon as a 'local pub' fails (and many are now due to HMG financial attacks), a cooperative is born, raising finance and re-energising the pub to rise stronger than ever! You can't kill community - in RSA it is know as 'Ubuntu':

You must of had a good Dad. I miss my Dad so much. I didn't tell him enough how much I loved him, but he understood. Love, like a good potion takes time to stew and my daddy, he knows how much I love him now.

Yes Ken - I was so lucky (or maybe I chose my parents?) - I am an only child (my elder sister dies at 9 days in 1942. My parents were magic - I had a wonderful childhood and I loved them very much. Dad taught me so much humanity - 'love is giving asking nothing in return'.

Everyone is fearful in a dangerous world - fear is rooted in two things: the fear of losing what you have or not getting what you want (not need) want is stronger than need unless you are in a life-threatening situation. The secret of being in a state of love is the ability to let go of fear. I use this little book very effectively with my counselling clients:

The globalists use this human frailty to control and manage the 99% who are generally fearful. This book explains what happened in UK during the scamdemic:
