I must ask why I actually watched a video explaining the Earth can't be flat. I did, I really did and am so ashamed at my curiosity when I most certainly need to be doing better. OTOH, Monte videos are sorely missed in today's world where we need more doses of the obvious to improve thinking. A new word "polycrisis" is quite accurate. I suspect the coming pain will allow us to refresh our whole outlook on life. We certainly have postponed the inevitable for a long time.
Growth need not require more population but more innovation. But instead of improved productivity with our human resources we seem to be headed in the wrong direction in the last multiple years. That now laid bare by our foolish response to the pandemic through supposedly well meaning idiots anxious to accumulate even more wealth. Collective insanity among our people causing even more division.
Sad leaders of all stripes seem to a failing. Wonder if the next crop will be better? Good judgement comes via experience, so much to be learning now.
