Here, what the hell - since I've posted one superfluous comment anecdotal in a way....let me post another for the "fun of it". The link below has the batch of beer I have just ordered - 10 gallons in total if my friend can get the equipment before he comes over and we make up a batch of brew!
Now you must know - that beer being crafted is a Porter!
Here is a link to it - I sure hope my friend gets the equipment.
The ingredient have already been delivered....I have other equipment as a contingency cause you must know with your Plan B desires that contingencies are part of life!
Anyhow, if we make this beer, it has been a while for me and my equipment is somewhat aged, but I have the bottles - self-capping - ready to go. So, if I make it, then I'll save a bottle for you when we meet on the sail boat of mutual aid!
LOL you are too kind Ken but I will surely be there on my yacht to greet you and share that porter - so keep it safe my good buddy. Did you know of another who saved his bottle of champagne for his friend when he arrived to save him from his sinking yacht in the middle of a race and a hurricane?
It was Pete Goss whom I had the privilege to meet in Simons Town when he sailed into FBYC one day (long story). "The race turned Pete into a national hero overnight for the dramatic rescue of fellow competitor Raphael Dinelli in hurricane-force winds. Pete, who scuppered his own chances of winning the race in order to save Dinelli, was awarded the MBE by HM The Queen and the Legion d'Honneur by the French President for his actions."
It's what us sailors do - when another is in need, act asking nothing in return:
The animal Farm analogy is spot on. Some of those quotes are amazing:
"And I hope my upcoming Climate Ambition Summit – focused on credibility and action [and] The world needs climate justice as it needs financial justice." (Comrade Antonio Guterres) The UN never gives
up its attempts for world governance, especially financial governance.
When Ned Ryun writes: "They want to create feudalism 2.0", doesn't he realise that we are already in feudalism 2.0!
(at last, I think I've overcome the problem with posting, somehow!)
Hey P&S - this is an anecdotal comment not serious, but seriously - I went to a place today by happenstance and lo-and-behold you had already been there and liked the same article I liked and then saw you had been there....it is a small world ain't it?
~~~
PS - on that Teeny Tiny Town game I mentioned awhile ago on another thread, I now have the #1 score on the Volcano map as well. That is two maps I am now #1 out of 1000's playing and my score on the Volcano map could get higher and maybe it will, but it has sort of gotten boring after my big sky scraper finally got hit by the volcano when I didn't have enough funds to pay for a "switch-er-roo" (I think that is part of the algorithm but I'm still verifying that).......so I will happily "come to your world" (on a sail boat I reckon?), but before I do, let me share a bit of mine....then maybe, the world will change when we decide to work together mutually.
ps - the Teeny Tiny Town game and the Civilization series of games by Sid Meier really one is a puzzle and the other a history lesson the first time you play it. The puzzle so far for me remains interesting and I expect I will have the top score on more than just 2 maps in the not too distant future - the one with the history lesson was very interesting and compelling in its first iteration but has lost its lustre since then from a gaming standpoint per my perspective.
Now Sid Meier's Railroad Tycoon 2 game - that was a classic for sure as well as M.A.X. - a great game that ought to have been copied but hasn't been inexplicably......anyhow Teeny Tiny Town is fun and it is fun to get the top score and all, but sometimes it is better to just get ones hand dirty in the garden and I sure hope my ghost peppers have enough time to ripen on the vine, but if they don't, I'll pick em beforehand and let them ripen in my kitchen and then I'll save the seeds and then you know....I'll plant them and see if they amount to anything.
The Civilization series of games has had diminishing appeal to me but I played the game you linked and I have it still on my device, but there are better games. I mean really - there are better games, but there is no denying if you peruse the games being created these days for electronic devices it is most telling about potential future direction of where things might be heading.....
sons of bitches P&S - your place has really captured my attention today....I think I need to go outside for a bit...
LOL - it's always good to take a break, Ken and admire the Maker's works that surround us - time-out is most important for me to find that calm place after all this chat Ha Ha! :-) You really create joy for me in these dark and wet evenings, Ken - thank you gratefully - and you teach me so much wisdom too. Time for supper...see you tomorrow.
I hope your meal goes as desired and wish to express to you likewise how much I enjoy our discourse and it is made better by the fact you put out your viewpoints publicly just as I do.
