Inflation in the US seems to have leveled sightly. Sadly, depending on how bad the winter will be, I expect it starting up again in Jan. The R's have won but not by a huge margin, it seems. The Congress may dither as the competing forces try to destroy each other in prep for '24.
Most oil producers are involved in some buy-backs and improved dividends, not in radically increase in production. The smaller firms got killed by the '20 price cuts an won't e competing for awhile. While the Sauds really haven't throttled back. All of them are set to keep oil in short supply. It will be interesting to see if Russia can sustain oil output; they do no exploration and may start to run into maintenance issues.
Russia now must import munitions! Whether the war supply chains can support Russia is a question. Best hope is for Russia to agree the Nazi's were defeated and call it a day. I see the prospect of enlarging the war if there is substantial Iranian missile transfer. Israel is likely to try some sabotage efforts, if not direct hits.
Excellent assessment HH as usual thank you. Agree all you say - I am watching China v Russia - will they support the SCO and BRICS whilst risking pushback from the West? So far, it seems China is keen on a Ukrainian settlement and supports your view - call it a day?:
Putin is still trying to seem rational. I do hope he is wise enough to stop this stuff. I think he is hoping the west will tire of their support of Ukraine; I'm not sure that will happen regardless of the cost. In a way it's tragic for the Russians in that opening was improving Russian and world economies. If Xi can see past near term bluster and return to economic growth efforts, he may setup China for a long term win but I'm not sure of his wisdom. The collapse of the West is underway via near total incompetence. The US voters have spoken (or the machines have) for no real change to a bad trajectory, post Covid. Addled minds looking at their phones is not particularly creative.
Don't forget the guy who quipped the US will try a lot of things before they find the right solution. Hopefully the innovators will still prevail. I've got small plays on new battery stuff and ag technology. Who knows whether my bets will pay, but that kind of stuff is being done.
Good picks HH - I am staked on funeral homes at present. But my good contact, Chris Macintosh, at 'Capital Exploits', always has some good long term staples to look at and his sense of humour makes him a joy to read. He has been bullish Coal for years and maybe its day has come?
For the sake of fairness, let me say, I have just shared this link elsewhere.
I think good communication, with definitions properly understood however translated if translated fair, is the key to the future and that is what I am aiming for in time!
Pease indeed - it is something I pray for every day in the belief that if a grwoing number of people gather together in the ether under the guidance of our Creator - magical events are possible: (Mark:11;24)
"In reply Jesus said to them: “Have faith in God. (23) Truly I say to you that whoever tells this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but has faith that what he says is going to happen, he will have it happen. (24) This is why I tell you, all the things you pray and ask for, have faith that you have received them, and you will have them. (25) And when you stand praying, forgive whatever you have against anyone, so that your Father who is in the heavens may also forgive you your trespasses.”
A downside of seeing 'conspiracy' of control agenda is becoming defined by reaction. Which could be seen as the most potent aspect of a control agenda!
However, I cant read of the global situation without a sense of a world being 'reconditioned and restructured' by orchestrated applications of fear, guilting, and false solutions, as a complex of carrot and stick running rats in a lab maze.
This winter looks to be a significant turn of the screw in terms of applied torture techniques applied on social scales. Good Cop is waiting in the wings when we are taken to breaking point.
All for our own good of course! Well for human 2.0 if indeed that remains human or some kind of golem.
Funded and securitised narratives operate the minds in which most everyone 'thinks'. Choking sustenance or supply to any other perspective is its 'creative' power by which to make life in image to which the living must sacrifice?
The willingness to sacrifice life for lies is the sustenance and supply to a 'control agenda'. Thus the giving to Caesar will choke dues to God and vice versa. You have to discern my reference to 'God' in a living sense for yourself or run dead thinking and be-live your result! Love cares not our 'belief system' but that it truly serves life and the living in practice.
Thank you so much for a careful assessment of our distressed condition with which I entirely agree. Their Covid narrative ran out after 2 years and now they need to crash the developed economies before their CBDCs can be introduced which of course requires compliance from the 99%. Resistance is already growing which they hope will be moderated as the Vaxx takes effect and the global populations decline rapidly. We are at war on many fronts.
I do know that a local economy - off grid - is practical and we are executing our plan deep in rural SW England already and are confident that we can prosper without their corrupt banks, failing fiat currencies, dysfunctional politicians and fraudulent global mega-corporations in cahoots with the WEF et al and CIA/UK SIS. https://austrianpeter.substack.com/p/the-financial-jigsaw-part-2-localisation?s=w

I will Skye with my China contact soon - hopefully get the inside on current geopolitics and the multipolar world.

Yes it's all very sad HH. Gerry says the future of the western world is in the hands of USA - I think he is right and our demise is assured.

Thanks Ken, I walk with you
