It's all going to be great! Not by mankind's methods or time. The "Great Whore Babylon (confusion)" is being stripped naked, ripped apart, and done away with giving even the astute politically, and most within decent churches a false sense of righteous confidence. Last BIG show "6" is next, and THEN.

In the meantime, we must protect the innocent and pray fervently.

I agree CA, in my experience prayers are answered, but that's another whole can of worms.

Bravo Darius - We are beginning to win but the enemy is very powerful. Sun Tzu advises caution and wisdom in planning:

"Military tactics are like unto water; for water in its natural course runs away from high places and hastens downwards... Water shapes its course according to the nature of the ground over which it flows; the soldier works out his victory in relation to the foe whom he is facing. Therefore, just as water retains no constant shape, so in warfare there are no constant conditions. He who can modify his tactics in relation to his opponent and thereby succeed in winning, may be called a heaven-born captain."

On Trump. As 'someone' stated: "He punches you in the face first and then starts the negotiations!"

If anyone thinks that the 'I' in AI stands for intelligence, they could do no better than read Becky Sheaves latest column in Saturdays Western Daily Press: (Available via Magzter if you don't have a local west country newsagent at hand!) Yes, we are spoiled in the West Country :-) I hope that she wont mind me including a few lines below:

"WHAT is this? My computer now has an AI widget that won’t leave me alone. It keeps popping up on my Word documents and offering, to do my work for me. Until I fathom how to switch it off, the pesky critter won't stop begging to help. In the end, I gave up and asked it to “write a column in the style of Becky Sheaves” And this, dear friends, is what I got:

“The Joy of Simple Pleasures

‘A Reflection on Everyday Delights

‘There's a certain magic in the mundane, a charm in the everyday that often goes ‘unnoticed. In our fast-paced world, we tend to overlook the simple pleasures that bring joy to our lives. But it’s in these little moments that true happiness often resides ....." It gets worse

It is so bland and so far removed from her excellent, witty, writing style, as to be comical. We don't need it - it is almost useless, except that it is verging on the dangerous.

Gb, even on your cellphone AI makes word or spelling corrections for you which is rudimentary AI operations. Unfortunately, we cannot stop it. I say unfortunately because it dumbs down a lot of good habits like learning basic communication skills. On the other hand, it increases productivity. Italy didn’t stop AI, it stopped the CCP version of AI. The US has nothing to fear as far as Chinese AI. The CCP steals intellectual property as they have NO original ideas. They have to send students to American universities and still they can’t seem to come up with original concepts. Whatever AI they may have developed, you can bet Trump’s army of brilliant minds will take it and make it something that actually works the way it should. Like the Yugo car, the Russians thought they would take that industry away from the US. What a joke!

There is no AI on my 'cellphone' I'm pleased to say. We can keep it out if we so wish.

There's no hope for Mr Anderson, Greg. Totally conditioned, and probably a techy nerd. I won't spend anymore time on him. Perhaps also 'Troll' comes to mind, but I won't be so accusative in this regard, as he sounds sincere and genuine, just misdirected perhaps?

Texting has an AI function as spellcheck is part of that. The suggestions you get to try products from consumer websites, are the result of data collected from previous purchases you made, and that is a function of AI. Any large business collects data on you and their system uses those patterns of behavior to help them sell more stuff to you and other people with similar preferences. If you use the worldwide web, you are exposed to AI and being tracked. AI is everywhere. Go to Walmart and if your cell phone has been used at home to make purchases online, the store recognizes that you are making a visit at that location. AI. Yep.

It does depend upon the operating system. I use postmarketOS so am free from the AI dominated Droid, iOS and Msoft. However, as you say, you are not free from the websites that you visit and the shops that you enter.

Years ago, someone I know, bought an upmarket router that, incidently, could track all the mobile phone signals nearby. He soon saw patterns, ie when the neighbour went to work etc. That was just a domestic router and years ago!

We live in strange times.

So true Greg. I confess to having to use IT (Laptop WIN 10) but won't go to WIN 11. If they shut down 10 - I will go to Linux. Our times are indeed a-changing!
