Thank you for the re-post of my review of Rage and Love. South Africa's claim on loyalty is like a burr or a wag-n-bietjie thorn, snagging all attempts to ignore it. I am sure Chris Waldburger will thank you too. I am due to publish my own reflective tribute in the coming weeks. I am not planning ever to seek paid subs! Just to communicate with like minds, and Substack makes that very easy. One of the few platforms where generosity thrives and is almost always reciprocated.
It always important to have a sense of "scale" and so thanks for this reporting P&S. Can't deny though it is hard when it hits close to home, but tis "par for the course" I reckon:

Nothing is forgotten and Nobody is forgotten - as they say in Russia at the special and I would say "sacred" place they built there to remember those who fought wars in the past.

As each day goes by I learn more and just like you P&S - I want to share with others what I have learned, but no denying - there can be no denying - the best way to learn is face-to-face and when something happens direct upon you, call it a learning experience - and what matters after that is response. At this moment in time, if I was the lead dog in the Wolfpack, I would say to the other dogs - come on you all - tis time to get a kill for good this time.

I'd be honest and say - in dog speak - we may or may not get it - but don't worry - we will eventually - cause the Wolfpack, always - I mean always prevails. Then I would let out a howl heard around the world, and we would go on the hunt.
You have had 24 hours to respond, and truth of the matter is sometimes a lack or response is an answer unto itself, and so doubt the accuracy of P&S at your own peril and lack of response is indicative.....and that is based upon hard lessons learned - so I reckon what you say merits no consideration and that is that.

Apparently a precise missile hit a vessel carrying depleted uranium in the Odesa area, and now the consequences are becoming evident - and pray tell - who has the most precise hypersonic missiles that cannot be defended against?
