THE SNAKE-IN-THE-GRASS – [I wrote this last year]. “Look out for Starmer next year; he's a ‘Snake-in-Grass Globalist’, aiming for the highest public office in Britain.” [He got there in the end, in July 2024. The Globalists win again but will they win in the end?]

It’s been three weeks since Keir Starmer stepped into Downing Street as Britain’s new Prime Minister.  While the Labour party now commands a supermajority in Parliament, the vote tallies exposed a number of serious fault lines for the incoming government.

The polls had Starmer winning upwards of 40% of the vote, but the final result had Labour on a mere 34%, marking the biggest gap on record between the share of the vote won and the number of seats gained!  A number of Labour’s key lieutenants, such as Wes Streeting, David Lammy, and Starmer himself, saw their vote share drop by 17%, 19%, and 16%, respectively.

The Green party now has four MPs and is in second place in 40 constituencies, up from just three in 2019. Five Independents also won on a pro-Gaza ticket, while independent and Worker’s Party candidates are in second place to Labour in 17 constituencies.

The journalist, Richard Sanders wrote in Declassified, there is “a time bomb ticking beneath the new government’s majority”.  Much of the damage was done by Labour’s position on Israel’s genocidal war in Gaza; yet there are few signs that Starmer will change track.  Indeed, Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu was one of the first political leaders to congratulate Starmer on his election victory.

Starmer told Netanyahu that “he looked forward to further deepening the close relationship between the two countries”, and was “committed to continuing the UK and Israel’s vital cooperation to deter malign threats”, (an unsubtle reference to Iran).  He also “set out the clear and urgent need for a ceasefire, the return of hostages and an immediate increase in the volume of humanitarian aid reaching civilians”.

Whether Starmer will put meaningful pressure on the Israelis to commit to a ceasefire, however, remains doubtful. As Declassified revealed, half of Starmer’s new cabinet have accepted funding from pro-Israel lobbyists, with the donations valued at over £600,000.

Whereas Lammy spent the past three months demanding that the Tory government publish its legal advice on selling arms to Israel, moreover, he has thus far failed to do so himself – let alone impose an arms embargo.

The other key issues centre on whether the new government will support the International Criminal Court arrest applications for senior Israeli officials, restore funding to the aid agency UNRWA, and recognise a Palestinian state. Thus far, there have only been signs of movement on the first of those issues.   The primer goes something like this:

• A1: Simple. They want The Earth.

• Q2: What is their main strategy to get hold of it?

• A2: Simple. To reduce the population. (Yes, that means what you think it does).

Britain’s new Labour government promised to focus on infrastructure, housing, and transport investment to stimulate the country’s economy but has admitted it may take more than a year to see any positive outcome.  They’re not kidding – this is a massive mountain to climb: effectively 25 years of no growth!  In essence, the 2008 GFC destroyed the British legacy economy:

Labour Party leaders made the concession during the King‘s Speech opening Parliament last Wednesday.  A notable centrepiece of the announced legislation is the promotion of “economic stability.”  The proposed “Budget Responsibility Bill” mandates that decisions align with the judgments of the ‘Office for Budget Responsibility’ (OBR), an unelected Deep State body tasked with producing financial forecasts.

Under these reforms, the OBR’s role in evaluating policy affordability and its potential impact on growth is significantly reinforced. This grants the unelected OBR unprecedented influence over governmental policy decisions.

Matt Kennard discovered something important about Keir Starmer’s time as head of the Crown Prosecution Service when he was in charge of Julian Assange’s earlier proposed extradition to Sweden. The CPS told Matt it had destroyed all records of Starmer’s visits to the US at that time.

But US records show Starmer met with Attorney General Eric Holder and a host of American and British national security officials in Washington in 2011 and made other trips in 2012 and 2013. “During Starmer’s time in post, the CPS was marred by irregularities surrounding the case of the WikiLeaks founder.”

Declassified discovered that Starmer had joined the Trilateral Commission [yet another WEF] between 2017-18 while he was Corbyn’s shadow Brexit secretary.  He is one of only two serving British MPs to have been a member, according to available records.  Starmer spoke at the group’s London event in 2017 alongside former heads of MI5 and GCHQ.  Former CIA director said in 2019 “we will do our level best to stop Corbyn getting elected”. Corbyn’s former spokesman tells Declassified that Starmer’s membership “was plainly incompatible with Labour’s then-stated policies.”  Keir Starmer joined an international grouping closely linked to US and UK Intelligence agencies while he was serving in Jeremy Corbyn’s shadow cabinet, Declassified has found more:

The Trilateral Commission describes itself as a “global membership organisation” which seeks “to discuss and propose solutions to some of the world’s toughest problems”. Its meetings are strictly off-the-record.

The Election was a fraud.  “Meet the New Boss. Same as the Old Boss”.  On July 4, Britain held its General Election and, as widely predicted, the Labour Party (pseudo-left wing) won seats by a landslide, but as noted above, because of the vagaries of the British voting system, only 20% of the voters backed Labour.

Whilst at the outset this may seem like the Brits have lurched to the left after a disastrous 14 years of Conservative (pseudo-right wing) power, all is not as it seems. I’ve labelled the parties left and right wing for newcomers to British politics but in reality they are both one, 'The Uniparty', following a globalist and neoliberal agenda with minimal differences between their policies.

AND yet we progress: “All this leaves observers puzzled as to what the government’s actual stance on this important Digital ID system is.”  It seems that the new Labour government really only needed a little persuasion – after “rejecting” Blair’s call to implement Digital ID cards on July 7, because on July 10 there were statements by an influential party figure calling that path “inevitable.”

 Somewhere, in the meanwhile, Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds first said that the government would be “looking at all sources of advice” only to quickly backtrack and say there were no ID card plans.

OLYMPICS 2024 – BAD TIME IN PARIS YESTERDAY

HOT PRESS on Friday saw tremendous disruption to transport across France apparently due to sabotage by persons unknown.

The 2024 Summer Olympics, officially the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad and commonly known as Paris 2024, is the international multi-sport event scheduled to take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024.  The Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games is the biggest event ever organised in France.  The spectacle taking place during those weeks will go down in history and Paris will become the centre of the world – the world of sport and so much more.

The Opening Ceremony occurred last night.  A new, youthful sport is coming to the Paris 2024 Olympics, while some other sports are falling by the wayside this year. ‘Breaking’, aka breakdancing, will make its Olympic debut in Paris this summer, joined by three other recently added Olympic sports: surfing, skateboarding, and sport climbing.

During the Munich 1972 Olympics, 11 Israelis were murdered by the Palestinian terrorist group ‘Black September’. A ceremony, the date and location of which are not yet known, will take place during the Paris Games to commemorate those killed, reported French publication ‘Le Point’.

The chairwoman of the Israel Olympic Committee, Yael Arad, said "It was clear to us that such a troll would come. We prepared for it. We instructed the athletes on how to act when it comes and we had many conversations and meetings on the subject,” Walla reported.

Eighty-eight Israeli athletes will be participating in the games. All will receive security details from Shin Bet, as will their staff, Zohar told The Telegraph. IMMIGRATION MONITOR – PLANNED CHAOS IN EUROPE?

By Douglas Murray (DW) (emphasis added): Shortly after the European Union imposed successive rounds of sanctions on Belarus for a presidential election that the opposition denounced as fraudulent, thousands of Middle Eastern and African migrants began arriving at Belarus' border with Lithuania in the summer of 2021.

This sudden influx, which Poland and the Baltic states have accused Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko of coordinating together with Russia, expanded into a wider border crisis that is still ongoing three years later. Statistics from the three states neighbouring Belarus show border guards have stopped some 150,000 illegal crossing attempts by migrants, overwhelmingly in Poland.

Clearly, a lot more is going on here than initially meets the eye. The European Union leadership in Brussels, which controls the external borders of the Schengen Area, with its trillions in resources, could easily close them to illegal migration and put an end to the migrant hot-potato game if it had the desire to do so.

However, it doesn’t regulate the border in any meaningful way, so the member states, and localities within them, pass on the burden wherever they can; an odd practice for a “union” of highly integrated and allegedly aligned EU members with shared interests.

At any rate, Douglas Murray, in his definitive treatise on European Replacement Migration, “The Strange Death of Europe: Immigration, Identity, Islam,” perhaps best explicates the moral outrage of a controlled demolition in the West by its own leadership: “In such a view of society, however greatly you might wish to benefit from an endless supply of cheap labour, a wider range of cuisine, or the salving of a generation’s conscience, you still would not have a right to wholly transform your society.

Because that which you inherited is good should also be passed on. Even were you to decide that some of the views or lifestyles of your ancestors could be improved upon, it does not follow that you should hand over to the next generation a society that is chaotic, fractured and unrecognisable.”  Unless chaos, fracture, and ultimately total transformation is the goal, of course as noted above: “Ordo ab Chao”

ENERGY MONITOR - THE RISKS OF NET ZERO.  The Net Zero cure is worse than the climate change disease

Most climate activists claim that we must cut emissions by spending more money on windmills and solar panels or we will all burn to a crisp. This 5-minute video explains:

Acknowledging the earth is indeed warming and that human emissions of CO₂ have possibly made a contribution to that warming, it is also true that the climate has changed dramatically over millennia without human intervention; clearly, there are other causes of climate change.

The strategy of reducing emissions of greenhouse gases to Net Zero is classified as a “mitigation strategy” in the parlance of the IPCC. The alternative strategy is adaptation which means taking measures to adjust to climate change such as building flood defences, irrigation systems or developing new strains of crops to cope better with changing weather patterns. Most spending in the West is geared towards mitigation. But, what if the Net Zero cure is worse than the disease? What if mitigation is less effective than adaptation? Source

While the British government approved the AstraZeneca-Oxford vaccine on December 30, the second after the Pfizer shot was authorised for use on December 2, the EU is only predicted to approve the AstraZeneca product at the end of that week. ECONOMIC GROWTH MONITOR - DOCTOR’S ORDERS: WEAK GLOBAL GROWTH? - Did you know that I am officially a doctor?  I stopped using the title shortly after being awarded my PhD as I don’t want to be THAT guy!  Besides, people might start asking me to take their blood pressure, examine strange moles, or check their prostate. (As I always say, I’m not qualified, but I’ll have a go.)

 Not everyone is shy about their credentials. Copper likes to boast about its moniker ‘Doctor Copper,’ so named because of its supposed ability to predict shifts in the global economy. With widespread construction, electronics, and transportation applications, the base metal has long been considered an economic bellwether.

Given Dr. Copper’s reputation as a leading indicator, its sharp price fall over the last two months is somewhat ominous.  This week, copper sunk to its lowest price since April, falling below US$9,000 per ton and down more than 20% from May’s record high.  According to the London Metal Exchange Index, base metals generally suffered their worst weekly decline in almost two years.

Fears over the Chinese economy explain much of the recent weakness. China typically accounts for around half of global copper consumption, with a massive infrastructure, industry, and housing expansion stoking demand for decades.

China’s GDP growth was below expectations in the second quarter, with the economy expanding at its slowest pace in more than a year. Year-on-year expansion of 4.7% is short of the official 5% target for 2024.  Much in advance of Britain and the West!

Retail sales also rose at their slowest monthly pace since December 2022 as the Chinese consumer appears reluctant to spend. Unlike the rest of the world, prices in China have been falling, with five straight quarters of deflation—the longest such period in 25 years.

No market can thrive when its biggest buyer is struggling. Copper stockpiles have surged in Chinese warehouses, with 330,000 tonnes piled up at the Shanghai Futures Exchange, the most since 2015 (other than a brief spike during the pandemic).

China is sending more of the metal overseas, with copper exports doubling in June to a record high. Consequently, global copper inventories have ballooned, with the London Metal Exchange holding twice the amount it did two months ago.

Markets had hoped that the Chinese authorities would step in to stimulate the economy. But Beijing appears to be keeping its powder dry.  This week, the Communist Party wrapped up its Third Plenum, a major policy meeting held every five years, without a ‘Big Bang’ announcement to boost growth.

Xi Jinping has long been sceptical of stimulating consumer demand or building a welfare state, arguing that Western-style consumption-driven growth is wasteful and “encourages laziness”.

Instead, the party announced plans to develop its technological capabilities, innovation, and green energy, even if it results in slower growth in the near term. In terms of stimulus, the government essentially passed the buck to the central bank, which responded with modest cuts to interest rates.

The People’s Bank of China unexpectedly trimmed several key policy rates, albeit only by 10-20 basis points. The central bank remains wary of cutting rates too dramatically amid concerns about capital flight and a weakening yuan.  Still, cheaper mortgages and corporate borrowing should help boost demand. However, real interest rates remain elevated due to ongoing deflation, blunting the impact of rate cuts.

If the old maxim “It's the economy, stupid” held true, the incumbent Democratic Party would surely walk the upcoming presidential election. Growth is strong, unemployment is low, real wages are rising, and inflation is returning to normal.  But that doesn’t seem to be playing out in the polls. Perhaps voters particularly dislike higher interest rates. On that front, the market has now fully priced in a rate cut for the Fed’s September meeting as BOOM predicted last Tuesday.  Or, more likely, factors other than the economy has taken centre stage?

INFLATION – House Prices Moderate

But the ratio of 6x earnings is still out of most people’s aspirations to buy their own home.  The Bank of England’s latest ‘Money and Credit Report’ supports the picture of a lacklustre housing market; mortgage approvals for new purchases fell from 60,800 in April to 60,000 in May.

If house prices stay steady in the coming years while gradually falling in real terms, it probably wouldn’t be the worst outcome. Over time, affordability should improve as wages rise faster than prices. And for all the talk of a stagnant market, it’s worth remembering that Britain’s houses remain very expensive by historical standards.

The biggest mistake is people waiting for A Big Sign that’ll tell them things have gone too far. One Big Thing that police, lawmakers, or political leaders will do that will cross the line.  It’ll never come because they won’t cross it. They’ll move the line. That line you think you stand on is shifting everyday with little actions, bills, and legislation.

That line will stop moving one day, when it will be too late.  Every day, sensitivity is being eroded by these willful atrocities. The envelope for what you will accept is being pushed.
