IS US/NATO PREPARING TO Wage a Nuclear War?   Nuclear Attack F-16 Fighters are being sent to Ukraine. Nuclear War is on the Drawing Board of the Pentagon by deploying, “Conventional dual-capable nuclear fighters.” The US/NATO escalation against Russia brings Europe ever closer to the threshold of nuclear war. The political-media complex has cast a curtain of silence so as not to alarm European public opinion and prevent it from reacting and causing civil unrest.

"US Senator Blumenthal (D) [see Twitter here] introduced a bipartisan resolution declaring Russia's use of nuclear weapons or destruction of the occupied Zaporizhia Nuclear Power-plant in Ukraine to be an attack on NATO requiring the invocation of NATO Article 5"  IMHO this is Cuba 2.

Article 5 provides that “if a NATO Ally is the victim of an armed attack, each and every other member of the Alliance will consider this act of violence as an armed attack against all members and will take the actions it deems necessary to assist the Ally attacked.” This is why Ukraine's application to join NATO must be deferred until the end of hostilities.

At no point since the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945, has humanity been closer to the unthinkable.  All the safeguards of the Cold War era, which categorised the nuclear bomb as “a weapon of last resort”, have been scrapped.  In 4 minutes viewing  you will understand how a nuclear war between Russia and USA will affect you personally.  I went through this in the 1970-80s which is why my Substack is named "Protect & Survive".

Russia accused Ukraine of using British-supplied missiles to strike the bridge to Crimea: Bridge Attack in Crimea  Russian-backed officials in southern Ukraine have accused Kyiv of using British-supplied long-range missiles to strike a bridge connecting Kherson province with the Crimean peninsula.

The strike on the Chonhar Bridge - (Inside Intel), one of the few links between mainland Ukraine and Crimea, came two days after Moscow threatened to attack Kyiv’s “decision-making centres” if western-supplied missiles were used against Crimea, which Russia annexed in 2014.

But now the Pentagon wants to use "cluster munitions."  What is so controversial about the US sending them to Ukraine?  Forces.net has the story. Sunak has made it clear [at least in public] that Britain "discourages" the use of cluster munitions as the UK is one of 123 signatories of a convention banning their use.

I lived through the 1962 Cuba crisis and the geopolitical moves afoot today remind me of what might be coming at us in the future.

GB News hasn't stopped bashing the BBC this week for yet another deviant sex scandal.  Everyone knows (per last week) that 'Auntie' is riddled with leftist deviants and weirdos.  It only came to the public's notice ten years ago when the 'Great Master Paedophile' himself, Jimmy Savile after decades of abusing youngsters.  Yet the BBC knew all the time!

His abhorrent sex crimes came to light posthumously, due to the BBC's continuous protection by censorship of those who made claims against him during his lifetime at the BBC.  Downing Street and the House of Windsor would enable, if not engage in, Savile's crimes for decades. Savile was closer to King Charles III than Prince Andrew was to Jeffrey Epstein, leading to the former paedophile being knighted by Queen Elizabeth II under the insistence of former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

Thatcher's office would go on to cover up a wide-ranging inquiry of sex crimes committed by Savile and members of HMG enabled by Downing Street. Minister of Parliament Geoffrey Dickens would go on to assemble a dossier investigating these crimes, which would ultimately be "lost" by Thatcher's office.

What once was a beacon of broadcast media propriety has become a mouthpiece of HMG's Propaganda Ministry.  The BBC has been made to look utterly foolish, leaving a reputation that was once exemplary, tarnished and torn beyond repair. They have mechanisms for obfuscation and enablement which has cultivated a culture at the BBC where vile perverts aren't just employed, they're celebrated!

Katie Razzall, the BBC's Culture Editor, highlighted how long the network allowed the undisclosed presenter to remain on air, questioning Davie's leadership and enabling of the alleged paedophile.

This decadent institution (formerly a bastion of propriety in my day) has descended to the depths of deprivation – a Sodom & Gomorrah look-alike.  It's time HMG put a stop to their coercive fraudulent Licence Fee and make the BBC stand on its own crippled legs once and for all.

The network's blatant hypocrisy can at least serve as a beacon for opponents of their propaganda, for it's clear that if there's one thing the BBC is sorely lacking, it is integrity. On Wednesday the identity of the high profile BBC presenter was published. My only comment is to note St. Paul's proverb; (quote), "Whatever a person is sowing, this he will also reap."  St. Paul warns that it is dangerous to think that the principles of God’s Word can be held in contempt. [Galatians 6:1-10].  (NB, "St Paul is celebrated in the Catholic Church as the patron saint of the missions, writers, [Substackers], and publishers!")

UN 'EMERGENCY POWERS' are being usurped by the BANKSTERS!

The UN has outlined a far reaching plan to secure 'Emergency Powers' which would allow the global body to lead a “common agenda” for all nations during any “complex global shocks” such as a new scamdemic.  The Federalist reports that the plan is to be finalised at a September 2024 ‘Summit of the Future,’ where the UN will adopt a ‘Pact for the Future,’ to include policies that have been outlined in the Globalist body’s ‘Our Common Agenda‘

One such policy is an “emergency platform” during any events that have a global impact and would give the UN authority to, “actively promote and drive an international response that places the principles of equity and solidarity at the centre of its work.”

The report notes that some details of the emergency platform were outlined in a paper from March with the UN Secretary-General declaring, “I propose that the General Assembly provide the Secretary-General and the United Nations system with a standing authority to convene and operationalize automatically an Emergency Platform in the event of a future complex global shock of sufficient scale, severity and reach.”

The paper gives several examples of what could trigger their Emergency Authority, including “major climatic event,” “future pandemic risks,” a “global digital connectivity disruption,” “major event in outer space,” and generic “unforeseen risks, (‘black swan’ events).”

The paper goes on to suggest that the UN would have the power to oversee the “Stakeholders” of the world, including academics, governments, private sector actors, and “international financial institutions” (aka Banksters) to ensure there is a unified, global response to whatever crisis is ‘declared’.

The paper further suggests that such authority would “Ensure that all participating actors make commitments that can contribute meaningfully to the response and that they are held to account for delivery on those commitments.”

It also states that while the emergency authority would have an initial finite lifespan, the UN would be able to extend it indefinitely if it saw fit to do so. The Federalist report notes that the Biden Administration has backed the proposal on multiple occasions, prompting reporter Justin Haskins to warn that, “If the Emergency Platform is approved, the United States as we know it could cease to exist.”

BANK of ENGLAND ‘DIGITAL POUND’ – Progress Report

The way we use money is changing.  This Consultation Paper sets out an assessment of the case for the retail ‘Central Bank Digital Currency’ (CBDC), aka ‘Digital Pound’.  It is overseen by the joint Bank-HM Treasury CBDC Taskforce announced in April 2021.

The usual Secrecy is emphasised by HMG/BoE, “Members must not make statements that might give clues to developments in monetary analysis that have not been disclosed, or that might confuse or mislead the public about monetary policy.”  

This is a wide-ranging discussion with Bob Moriarty of 321 Gold.  Moriarty begins with the prescient book about America's rendezvous with destiny—The Fourth Turning by Strauss and Howe—and looks at the inevitable transition away from a dollar-denominated and US-led world to whatever system emerges to replace it. My colleague at BOOM has already noted (quote), "An unelected European Commission and some unelected officials of the European Central Bank have decided that they are planning to grant themselves the right to issue money that the people can use, under their terms. AND, to add insult to injury Nigel Farage has confirmed that Coutts Bank (part of NWB) closed his bank account due to his being a, “politically exposed person” or PEP.  PEP was brought into law following Directive 2015/849 of the EU Parliament and approved by the Council following the EU Commission draft instrument.  He revealed that nine UK clearing banks had rejected him and even his lawyer claims being classed as PEP.

Farage says many small businesses had been forced to close as a result of this Directive, “Anybody involved in cash businesses have been losing accounts because they’re suspected of being money launderers. The law needs to be revised, not just for high profile public figures who are PEPs, but for everybody"

"These are ordinary men and women running their own businesses trying to do their best. They are being penalised in the most extraordinary way.”  Farage applauded the GB News Petition Initiative, "Don’t Kill Cash" to protect the status of cash as legal tender.  “Controlling people’s money would be the ultimate form of tyranny."

But what about Russia, are they following the WEF script, albeit silently?  'Coin Telegraph' has an interesting observation: "Russia’s central bank digital currency (CBDC) project, the digital ruble, has taken a step closer to reality. On July 11, the lower chamber of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the State Duma, passed the digital ruble bill in the third reading."

INFLATION WATCH

Wall Street reacted to this week's surprisingly Weak US CPI Report.  “The US headline CPI rose just 0.2% MoM (below the 0.3% MoM expected) which dragged the headline down to +3.0% YoY (cooler than expected) - the lowest since March 2021.  However, what the Fed will be watching is Core Services CPI (ex-Shelter), which fell to +3.93% YoY - the lowest since Jan 2022.”  ZeroHedge has the charts and assessment of what this means.

Expect US stocks to rise from here since, regardless of where you sit in the Fed debate, inflation decelerated in June to the slowest pace in more than two years, as reported on Wednesday.  However, Bloomberg notes, the question now: “Is this a genuine turning point?”  Does it reflect a material slowdown in the economy and how will the Fed respond?  “The inflation arrow may be pointing in the right direction, but the Fed has clearly communicated they believe the risks of being too dovish outweigh the risks of being too hawkish.”

Remember that Policy-makers in the 1970s were blamed for cutting rates too quickly at the first indication of inflation easing; but later were blamed for policy errors.  However in Britain there remains sticky inflation everywhere.

SURVIVAL MONITOR:  Charles Hugh Smith has seen the future and I agree.  There is a make-or-break financial fork in the road ahead for the West. There are three options:

• Slash trillions of dollars in annual federal spending to align with current tax revenues. [not gonna happen]

• Raise trillions in additional tax revenue from the only entities able to pay more, corporations and the top 5%. [stealing from their mates? I don’t think so]

• Monetise the soaring federal debt by the central bank “printing money” and using this new money to buy Treasury bonds, as per issuing new Treasury bonds for sale and is the way the federal government funds its stupendous deficit spending. [I’ll bet this one]

HOWEVER I would add a 4^th option – Bitcoin anyone?  Do you see what's happening?  A fellow Substacker, Jimy Changa, also sees the future and describes it very well.

BUT – it's all very well playing games on the Wall Street sports field - you might win a score or two - or not.  But what happens when your water supply becomes toxic?  You can't boil out inorganic chemicals.  I use a recognised water filter but even then they tell me certain heavy metals slip through.

THE NARRATIVE BATTLE - JUST A MERE 12 Years Ago – (9BC – 'Before Covid'), this is what has become of the former excellence of the Disney Corporation. So what happened to this great enterprise allowing it to dissolve into a scrap heap of Wokeness and moral degradation?

In 2020 GloboCap implemented the WOKE part of its Grand Plan for total World Government driven by ESG (which I covered recently). This is what Disney was like in 2011, a mere twelve years ago. In 2023 this is the direct consequence of price-gouging families plus the 'WOKE' backlash.

FINALLY: Maybe this is a good reason to live in Cape Town?  Is this the R13/Ltr alternative to South Africa’s 'high' petrol prices?  That's just 54 pence in real money! I am paying £1.50/Ltr in UK – What's not to like?
