Mia Mai - precious metals not easily obtained or authentically minted, but being truly physical - you can literally hold the coin in your hand - precious metals have always been a good means for trade - that is all. Barter is better, but currency is needed cause barter ain't always an easy option.

Bitcoin is a mathematical construct some suggest created by intelligence agencies and I agree with you - it seems imaginary and dependent upon a functional "internet" to have any currency - I think bitcoin and all the copycats are total bs, worthless and a fool and their money are soon parted - I'd just assume have a gold or silver coin - or alternatively, I'm an advocate for river rock as currency (but I'm biased being I have a place near the river).

Either way and regardless - faith is fiat $ is rapidly diminishing. This is obvious and evident.
