With the way that the economy is going, the problems of historic Netherlands could well reappear in the UK, as they did briefly at Peterloo (1819).

"This rage was driven by the prospect of hunger and enslavement from two invading armies."

If our economy collapses, as I feel it must, then "This rage" could be seen on our streets, but wait! We've had a wonderful King's speech that means all is well.

King Charles III "My government will be making everything in the country, nice, really nice.

My government will do this by making lots and lots of wordy speeches.

I must go now, to Highgrove, and talk to my roses about how to save the planet."

..and if that doesn't work, don't worry, financially incontinent Rishi will flood the economy every day with enough £billions to keep the 'Bread and Circuses' coming. "We're doomed, I tell you, doomed!"
